Five-a-Side Football Competition: A tournament with 30 teams (boys and girls) participating, held at Battersea Park. Chelsea Football Club help us organise the event and provided coaches to run it on the day.
Sport in the Park: Our flagship event with an attendance of some 2,500 young people. The event provides a wide variety of sporting activities, dance and musical workshops. Other fun activities such as a fashion workshop, face painting and arts and crafts are run by our dedicated volunteers.
TRIPS PROGRAMME:
Residential Courses which focus on outdoor activities and fun excursions. The week course enables young people to experience staying away from home, possibly for the first time. Other activities include sailing and canoeing for which participants gain achievement certificates.
Day Trips. We sponsor over 2,000 day places for young people, at 18 different venues. These included trips to the seaside, canoeing, rock climbing, go-karting and mountain biking, as well as Outward Bound-type day courses.
